So I'm fucked (not literally )
I've got a Fiesta, with a hole just behind the handbrake under the storage console
The car key fell into it and is irretrievable until the company it's leased from can deliver me a spare key, as we apparently can't be trusted to keep the spare... I can't go out and teach innit until that happens
I've had better days
Anybody else having a bad start?

"I've got one too and the end of my satnav fell down there - it's a bad design fault if you ask me. "
Rotten design fault... But, the very nice AA man got the centre console out quickly... You apparently need a specialist tool called a torque spline and after that just slide the sides up for easy access (does that sound slightly rude or is it just me?)
Might be worth investing in one?
Bizarrely, he also found 2 more keys, neither of which is mine... And I've had it since new
A swingers' car maybe? |

I've had a bad start to the day... Not something for a fab discussion but just joining you in the bad start support forum!
One of those that you know you'll somehow work out in the long run, but feels like you've been kicked in the stomach by a rampant stallion till you get a grip on things!
I hope it we all get a better afternoon, it is weekend from tonight,so there's something to look forward too later.
hugs to all that need them and one or two welcome myway too..xxx |

"Can you not remove the console and retrieve the key?
Tried it, but the screw's neither a flat head, Phillips not Allen key shape
"
Most probably a torx fitment then. |

This morning, pretty reasonable start. Yesterday morning less so when the fire alarm in my hotel went off at 3am and I spent the next hour shivering my bottom off in a car park! |

This is all part of a well documented phenomenon called the Duvet Day
Life is telling you that today is your designated Duvet Day
Utter the immortal words "Fuck it" and go back to bed
In certain circumstances Duvet Day can be substituted if you have a pub nearby that opens early |
