So guys do you remember the nerves that built up waiting for the slow dance at the school disco..and ladies do you recall any nerves waiting for a certain boy to ask you ?

My tummie still gets into knots when I think about it

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I went to an all girls school, with no dances with boys.

The last dance was something loud with us all hugging/dancing together.

Bristol

I don't think anyone ever asked me for the last dance.

Brighton - even Hove!

I never danced. I was too self conscious and sat with my friends watching.

We didn't have slow songs at my high school. It was all hip hop and reggaetone.

I usually danced with my friends. If I wanted real dancing with guys I had to go clubbing. And they were never nervous to ask

My first last dance was with a boy I had fancied since we first started school. I used to do his maths homework for him I liked him so much! Song was Peabo Bryson & Roberta Flack Tonight I Celebrate My Love (Mrs)

I remember it starting with arms fully stretched out and ending with bodies pressed together and wandering hands.

Thinking back...it wasn't the actual dance that was the priority...it was the possible snog

Mine was Spandau Ballet's True.

Still love that song for this reason. How many girls had to put up with erections pushed up against them, listening to this?
