The idea is you share these with whoever happens to show up. They're used for free overnight accommodation in very basic conditions.... and then the penny drops! No more cottaging for some and a dry place to do dogging...  "

I've used them a couple of times. They're absolutely invaluable, especially when the weather gets bad.
When I saw the story it concerned me a little that some twattish oiks will search them out and vandalize them. |

Yes. If you are walking out in the West coast of Scotland, the heavens open and the hail comes horizontally, they are a godsend.
