Anyone who saw the TV this morning ''s breakfast on the BBC must has raised an eyebrow about the article discussing "bothies"

These are small buildings free for any one rambling around the countryside.

The idea is you share these with whoever happens to show up. They're used for free overnight accommodation in very basic conditions.... and then the penny drops! No more cottaging for some and a dry place to do dogging...

They're are emergency shelters in the middle of nowhere, please tell me nobody is that hard up.

I've used them a couple of times. They're absolutely invaluable, especially when the weather gets bad.

When I saw the story it concerned me a little that some twattish oiks will search them out and vandalize them.

Yes. If you are walking out in the West coast of Scotland, the heavens open and the hail comes horizontally, they are a godsend.

They are not for sex entertainment.
