I wouldn't dismiss someone because they used text speak. It's not there language skills I'm after "
I don't use text speak and don't particularly like it but I wouldn't dismiss someone for using it either.

I just hate most text talk, or all the "lol" kinda stuff, it's lazy and childish to me. I don't really come across loads of it in private messages, thankfully.
