can't really comment/judge as even though I was born and raised and lived in the u.k. my parents are originally from abroad so technically I class myself as a second generation immigrant...

however it comes down to the government really as to how they control the traffic of migration if they want to reduce then by all means and if not then it comes down to the way it is handled...

it's out of my depths/hands anyway

You might not like brown skinned people who don't talk like you, indeed it seems like you don't like anyone who can't trace their lineage back to Richard the Lionheart but you don't realise that this country has thrived on immigration. Without exception all of the post war high profile immigration events (Ugandan Asians, Vietnamese boat people and more recent EU arrivals) have all generated a positive net effect to the UK economy.

Poor countries are countries the failing and falling populations because the tax take is ever reducing. Strong, successful economies have growing populations and a vibrant and educated youth that can economically support an ageing native population.

What is the matter with you? Why are you so obsessed with white British? I am amazed that in 2015 we have people in this country who would differentiate people because of the colour of their skin. It is absurd to the point that I wonder if you are saying this as a wind up.

You should travel a little I think. Get out of that hotbed of mass immigration called Warrington and see a bit of the world. Your fears and concerns are based on fear and ignorance and your "solutions" are just not thought out in respect of the modern world. You cannot make citizens of all countries stay in their own countries. Where will you draw the line with a policy like that's? Will we all eventually be required to live only in our town of birth? That is the natural evolution of your thought process.

Your argument is flawed and paradoxical.

A rising population does not mean greater wealth any more than a falling population means poverty.

By that argument India is a much richer country than Germany. Is that what you believe?

Migration can benefit Britain but the surest way is to have controlled migration - a points system. There are many in Britain who believe that is a good idea - and who is to say that is a wrong idea?

The notion that people should be able to come and go from different countries is simplistic and unrealistic: I would love to live in Australia but can't. They only allow people into their country who are needed to fill skills gaps and able to support themselves financially, with someone who can act as a guarantor.

What is wrong with Britain adopting such an idea?

And, finally, all the post war immigration has been good for Britain? That we would be bankrupted by having a smaller population? Was that where we were in 1938? No. Of course not. Britons lived a pretty decent life then.

I am sure it is only in Britain that we get so bent out of all shape on issues of creed, colour and nationalism. Other countries seem so more at ease with the idea that you can come to our country - but only if.....

I don't really know what this thread is about, but removing 10 million people probably would solve the housing crisis. So would building 10 million homes. Or removing all the people who are waiting for homes/wanting homes.

What do we mean by removing? Repatriation to a foreign land, or worse?

Is there a particular 10 million we are getting rid of? Scotland, Wales and NI have a population of around 10 million. Maybe we could ask if they have ever considered moving to Spain?

the rural housing crisis and city housing crisis are two different beasts... which you, as you have failed to do throughout this thread, failed to recognised...

a lot of the rural housing problem is that people from the big smoke are buying the 2nd homes that in the past locals may have been able to afford to buy....... that doesn't get solved by in your words chucking people out of the country......

and you also made an assumption that those 10 million people are using up accomodation they would then be automatically available to other people (ie council housing) ....... the privately renting accomation wouldn't help the council list... or that would already be happening....

what about of the large percentage of those people who own those homes? you going to buy those homes back?

if you say lets say... 20% of those are owned (i think thats a fair number...) the average uk house is worth at the moment 178k..... the average house in london at the moment is being sold at 325k

are you going to give people the going rate.....

how much is that going to cost.....

bearing in mind the reduced tax revenues you are going to be bringing in (because as we know by the economic figures they are actually net contributors to the uk tax system) are going to decrease... you uk debt just went up.... your taxes just went up... your standard of living just went down.....

and that still doesn't fail the acknowledge what I said about the NHS... which you didn't have any figures to contridict what I said....

and statistically even using the polices own statistics this "crime" is still more likely to be done by white people.....

There is/ was a major problem with asian gangs prostituting girls, and yes every race commits crimes

But there are crimes that certain groups seem to have a foot hold in the door, Romanians gypsies are know for fraud, in gangs there seem to be a lot of white chavs selling drugs / black guys (but this doesn't speak for all black youth cause not everyone is a gang member), muslims of certain factions like beheading, blocking up people for fun, Russia is known as a very racist place for people with dark skin.
