OK resident nerds, its official I'm now a nerd unqualified!
After joining fab I never read about the latest apps and gadgets and I'm missing out!

Just got a new Iphone 6s and the finger ID is fast as fuck! Anybody else used it yet? |

My current faves are of this then that. Who wouldn't want an app that automates your life giving you more time for other things...
Hue light bulbs so I can control my lights with an app..
And one that's been up there for a bit Google cardboard. Virtual reality games on your smartphone with a purchase of the headset of less than £5! |

It's an app that shows you all the planes that are in the sky at once. It's fascinating. Also very handy when I'm on airport taxi duty for my folks. |

I've an app on my phone which is the night sky. 
Just raise your phone up and you'll see all of the stars plotted in front of you.
It also has all the planets and satellites too  |

I like Torque Pro. It's a diagnostic app for cars that connects using Bluetooth. It can also log sensor parameters and also trace your journeys using GPS and Google maps.
It also has a virtual dashboard that has a few extra gauges on so you can see a few other engine parameters that your car may not normally display. |
