Do you just have a tree at Christmas or go the whole hog and have ceiling decs, a wholesale tinsel fest and outside lights to rival Blackpool illuminations?

We just have a tree now that there's only the youngest teenage daughter left at home. It's still a six footer with lots of glitz and lights but can't be bothered with all the other festive festoons - bah humbug!

a Primark shoebox in Leicester

I have atree in the livingroom and deccies all around the room (but none of that shite you hang from the ceiling. I give the kitchen a crimbo feel with some deccies too. And a small optic tree in my workroom.

It's like The Griswolds in our house.

A main 6'-er in the living room and another in the dining room and another in the guest room. Then we have lights in the windows, across the fireplace and around the bookcase. Then there's a huge garland/swag type thing with baubles and lights hanging in the bay window, stockings on the mantlepiece for all four of us and assorted ornaments/santas/glitzy things dotted everywhere.

Love it. Fabulous stuff.

Gloucester

6ft tree in living room, 6ft tree in playroom, 4 x 2ft trees - 1 in each kid's room, mini tree in dining room, various large ornaments in the rooms, twinkly stars from dining room lights, sticky things on windows, decorated mantlepiece, wreath on door, signs outside and several sets of lights on the garage....

leeds

Christmas free house, cards neatly stacked for recycling, not a hint of glitter or tinsel.........BLISS!!

No presents to receive or buy, no shopping to do no crowds to struggle through, can highly recommend Cancelling Christmas!!
