Not sad at all, I just fine that I always have other, more interesting ways (to me) that I want to spend my time....tend to put on background music if I want to fill the silence a bit...but, often I am just as comfortable with silence... |

Um, good question.
We watch about 2 hours a day. But it is mostly in the background while we are doing other things, like cooking, playing with the dogs, and cleaning.

I reckon watching tv is something that I enjoyed as a 'couple time' type of joint activity...sitting down together in the evening watching a show or two that we both enjoyed. Since being on my own I am just not drawn to it...even to the programmes I used to enjoy with my Ex... |

Just Emmerdale, Corrie regularly... and the odd decent 2/3 part drama or film...
The likes of Dr Foster - Black work was excellent...
For almost 18 month not at all as when we moved we ripped all the wiring/ariel connections out, and didnt bother replacing it until recently ... |

I estimate 1-2 hours a day most days but not at all sometimes. I do generally have it on in the background. We only have one television in our house though . Funny creatures us humans really.

Usually save up a few episodes on planner and watch them in bulk other than that not much other than the news each day.
It's not essential like it was growing up. Time is at a premium these days |

Me too - I haven't had a TV for years either - I enjoy watching films and series on my computer but getting rid of TV was the best decision I ever made to help me do other things!

None for a few months now, and before that it was only the odd episode Dr Who. I occasionally watch a series on Netflix or Amazon. I feel I ought to watch the news but I never get round to it. |

We used to be avid TV watchers but not any more , really thinking of taking the arial off the roof and just watching the very odd program on catch up . We don't watch any main stream news programs anymore as find them awful and end up shouting at the telly with all the bullshit they come out with . Tend to listen to the radio a lot these days . Don't miss the TV one bit  |

Usually watch a bit of the news in the morning and evening, Strictly on a Saturday and the odd drama or something in the week. And a bit of Netflix too. Probably averages out about 2 hours a day. |

I don't watch much TV but it does seem to be on all the time I am home just on sky sports news come to think of it, it's a complete waste of electricity  |

Ever since moving house last year as i dont have an aerial in my room, nowhere near as much as use to.
With one ex, it was always tv, all the reality shows, soaps etc, couldnt stand it.
Now everything i watch is stuff i download.
My parents always complain i watch too much tv but compare it to them, tv on around 6pm and they sit their til 1am everynight.
Me i download, no adverts, no being tempted to watch whats on next. At the most id prob watch two episodes of something a night |

Soaps are boring, same storylines year after year, no ones ever faithful in those shows and even if they get cheated on 20xs, still go back, and its so depressing.
Reality shows, boring, cant believe people watch a show about watching shows, i have a great idea for a show, what about show watching people watch a show, watch a show?
Xfactor,im a celeb, big brother, all the dancing, singing shows. All the same every year, just different people, rubbish. And whats worse esp for the music ones, is too many young people believe thats not the best way to get in the industry or cuz they cant sing they wouldnt be any good, yet 1000s of bands make good music |

you don't need one .... it's a computer programme that's free and will allow you to stream films, tv shows and a host of other stuff for free and quite legal..... no subscriptions, no registration, no danger ....... has more films and stuff than any of the packages that you pay for |

I watch none. Never had a tv when we were little so got used to not having one, and when we did get one my mum watched all the soaps or my dad wanted to watch nature stuff, so when we did have one we never got to watch anything we wanted anyway. Did enjoy thurs night TV though, watching comedies with my mum like Red Dwarf and that. |
