Everyone to go "mad" at the supermarkets and buy 6 loafs of bread and 10 pints of milk and 3 bags of sugar etc etc...
Why does everyone buy so bloody much ??
The shops are shut for like 1 day....
( you can tell i was shopping today eh )

The run up to christmas makes me feel more emotional than the actual day,there is usually so much going on that I don't have time to think
New years eve always gets me though,im an emotional wreck at 12 and plan to be doing something else this year at 12 to take my mind off it as im an embarrassment to myself |

Champers...Egads Yuk! Can't stand the stuff!
Had a result with our Xmas wine order today though. They had it down for a Dec 27th delivery so I rang them and said it should have been the 22nd as we're not here from the 27th-30th so we wouldn't have ordered it for then. The nice helpful chap on the phone apologised profusely, put our order on Special Del and chucked in an extra couple of bottles for the hassle.
And it's not cheap wine wither. Result! |

It makes me sad a little, remembering what christmases were like in the olden days when my mum and dad were around - but also happy that I have two lovely children and I try to make christmas special for them so they have good memories too. |
