At the end of August I turned 41 which is a curse instantly in the space of a day suddenly out of age range of what so many people are looking for. One of my close female friends described me as being like having to 20 year olds. The only thing that has changed is she now says it's like having a 20 year and 21 year old in the bedroom. Just think how harsh these mail filters can be. Anyone else feel they have been written off prematurely??? |

There are loads of women who won't care about your extra year. Approach them. 
I don't feel any older now than I did when I was 20. I'm just much more in touch with myself. There's joy in having a younger outlook with the experience age brings.

Where would the softer filter option stop?
There are those who set out their age preference but don't set their filters to block those outwith that preference.
It's not the end of the world.

That's thing it doesn't bother me I am happy to approach anyone it's just the automatic exclusion from the message filters that's the problem.

Suck it up buttercup plenty will meet you. You have the verifications that look like you have built up a little network of friends.
We use the age limits as an extra filter but go looking regularly outside them. Many we know do the same. |

Don't get me wrong I go to clubs and parties all the time I am not short of people to meet its just an observation at how harsh the filters can be. |

Interesting lol the thing is I don't know that would entirely work as I still feel like I am in my twenties. Although it's something to explore. |

Maybe you now fall out of some peoples age range. But you might actually now come INTO the age range of a whole lot of others!
Don't worry about those you can't meet, concentrate on those you can!
Oh, and if you're nice to some people, sometimes they can be flexible on filters ... |
