What constitutes "sorting your sock drawer out?" Just pairing them up? Or do you organize by color? I like to pair them, organize by type (fuzzy or regular), then organize by size (how far up the ankle/leg they go), then by color.

Sorted the clean from the dirty as before they were all thrown in together and you had to sniff them to tell the difference? |

Mr.
I have a simple sock system.
Grey and white
Grey for everyday, work etc..
White sports ankle socks for gym and running.
Two separate draws, easy.
It's my tshirt drawer that drives me crazy.
Sorting technical ones from cotton. |

You just need to organize it once, then you just follow through with it when you do laundry...so it doesn't take that much time.
An organized life saves time in total. |

I have been putting off sorting the living room - it has washing draped everywhere and usually is the job of Mr (away for three weeks, back on Thursday) - there is washing for me and three teenagers including bedding and towels - and its hanging everywhere - I did suggest it would make Mr feel that he was useful if I left it all until he gets back, but he was not having any of it --- onward and upward .... I much prefer twelve hour days at work to doing the housework ... |

It's the even ones ya wanna look out for, evil little bastards they are
I'm being a rebel today and wearing ma right sock on ma left foot and ma left sock on ma right foot. Thought I'd trick the little buggers though by wearing one inside out |
