I consider that im a realist. Ive had a profile on here for quite a few years though i only dip in and out. I know most of the profiles are liars, f&kes and fantasists so i just take it at face value and dont get bothered about it.
Anyway last week i was contacted by a supposed couple. They have a profile on here and several supposed veris.
They had advertised for a meet that day and wanted a male to join them. A series of messages were swapped and they said yes,we want you to come around and meet. I was given access to their private pics etc,given their address ,guided to their alleged home and guess what..no one answered the door. I had message contact right up to being outside and they said yes,knock,we are ready.
They then disappeared off the site for a couple of hours and a day later i was defriended then blocked.
As i say, im used to f&ke profiles,teasers and pretenders but i think its a bit much to have someone drive some distance to your home on a promised meet and then be blanked.

1: they were being highly rude and playing games (which are far from funny!)
2: they saw you from the window and didn't like what they saw

Dont get me wrong,, it isnt a worry for me,im not short of a shag or anything and my pics and profile are genuine and were shared with the alleged couple. I just thought id share the experience with the forum..im sure its not the first time its happened. I think they bottled it because what at first started as a fantasy turned into reality when i called their bluff. They whinge on their profile that they are fed up of timewasters who dont turn up !! hahaa..
Perhaps it wasnt real and there was some boy in a nearby house wanking off and tittering as i knocked on one of his neighbours doors.
Perhaps they guy bottled it as he worried that his girl would enjoy my cock more than his?

Did you speak with them as well as message? I always have phone conversations with people before confirming a meet.
You can gain a lot more information from someone's spoken responses than written messages, as the latter can be crafted without scrutiny.
I get some people who get really vocal about the hassle of jumping through my hoops but I prefer to screen them my way. |

If they had veris I very much doubt he'd be concerned about your performance, but I understand the need to big yourself up as it couldn't possibly be they saw you and didn't like what they saw!

Bad luck OP, that is always one of worst ways someone can mess with you.
My only suggestion would be to always meet in a local pub/tea-shop first. That way, even if they wimp out of sex/don't find you attractive, they can at least share a drink with you.
Sadly I doubt it was their real address - why would they risk drama on the street where they live?

No i dont need to big myself up and it wasnt a big distance. I do note that they appear to have disappeared from the listings unless my eyes fail me..i'll keep a look out for them. As i say its no issue,,im just mentioning it for the benefit of others and im not interested in reporting no shows to admin. I prefer they are discussed openly rather than hidden. |

Yes i did factor in the fools errand factor. If it had been a considerable distance i would have had to speak to them but as it was only about 20 mins, i decided that what with all that positive feedback it was worth a visit. Just shows how wrong you can be and that veris are not always to be trusted.. |

There would be nothing to stop someone creating multiple profiles and managing interactions between the various profiles. Also you may recall the recent Ashley Madison scandal...The website owners were forced to admit that THEY themselves created err,,fictitious profiles and also used what they call fembots , to automatically interact with anyone who messaged the aforementioned profiles,,not saying that happens here mind you. |

No he didnt,,he has no reason to. He knew he was probably on a fools errand but because it was nearby it was worth a trip and part of it was to confirm the real nature of many FAB profiles. |

I had a message from a couple a while ago. Chatted to both although I was only required for the male!!!
I was a little unsure of them and my suspicions were right. I did arrange to meet. They gave me their address and even offered me petrol money (which I refused). I pulled out of the meet and I'm glad I did as they kept deleting their profile and setting up new ones. Messaging me each time with excuses about accidentally deleting their account.
Just sad people have to be like that! |
