I fluctuate, outside of work I'm not the greatest planner and tend to be spontaneous which stretches me outside of my comfort zone. Although I'm more impulsive in most things and that zone can be stretched at those times, for good and 'well that was a life experience' times |

Bit not sure it's good to do all the time occasionally yes of course but you got to prepare yourself before you do |

I like to push my boundaries as I'd hate to become trapped in some sort of stasis, afraid afraid to try new things.
For example, I have aspergers and a bit of social anxiety as a result, so I'll message people on here who I like the look of (for friendship or sex) so it doesn't get the better of me.
In real life my most recent boundary pushing is joining a gym. I've never set foot in one before as they terrify me, but I have my induction session tomorrow!
I know these things probably seem minor to most people, but to me they're big achievements and I'm dead chuffed with myself. |

I step oot of mine regularly , sometimes it can be daunting other times its amazing .I enjoy pushing boundaries and I always know I can run back to the comfort zone if I desire.

Absolutely, keeps things interesting I say. Also, knowing there's a safety net (comfort zone) should things not go as planned' |

Everything is relative, so whether it's minor to others doesn't matter, you should be rightly chuffed
Hope the induction goes well, gyms are quite swish now I believe, not all spit and sawdust, but the fair bit of grunting I imagine |

There are times I don't realise I'm out of my comfort zone until after the event, however, there are also times I'm so overwhelmed that I freeze up and cannot continue. Surprisingly, it's simpler things that this happens with, and the stuff other people find harder, I'm fine with |

I don't think I'd call it a comfort zone. It's not always comfortable. In the last few years though I've been tentatively moving out of this place. I've realised that essentially I'm never actually truly happy or truly myself in this 'comfort zone'. I NEED to step out of it more. |

Its always good to do one thing every day that pops you out of your comfort zone.
It gives you a feeling of being alive , and as long as it doesn't endanger others |

I think it was Eleanor Roosevelt who said 'Do one thing every day that scares you'. Not sure if that's possible. But I like the idea. |

I believe stepping outside your comfort zone is the best way to accelerate things. If we don't take chances we just tick along with little change or impact.
Even when the result hasn't been a good one, it's still had it's learnings, but on the whole 90% of the time it's turned out to be a fantastic experience. This is in both my work and private life.
Fab has definitely given me plenty of opportunities to test this theory! |
