Despite loosing to Bosnia this evening Wales have qualified for the European Championship in France 2016.
The first major tournament since 1958.
Well done Chris Coleman and the Boys.
A berry happy and emotional Welsh boy this evening. And not a drop of wine ,,, untill now .

On Twitter this even saw a message congratulating the Scots on gaining their independence. Well, for 4 weeks next summer when the rest of us are in France.

 congrats! 24 countries in the group stages, only 8 drop out before the knock out phases, will be great to have so many home nation teams over in France next year!
Let's hope Bale keeps fit for Wales' sake! |

Well done on England for qualifying, but huge congratulations to the Welsh and Northern Ireland for qualifying. As an England fan I've not enjoyed a major tournament since 96. Even though we're still terrible and no chance of winning, the fact we have two other home nations there makes it one exciting tournament.
I also have Irish roots, but because the wife is polish, I'm hoping they qualify too tomorrow! But if Eire make it I'm still happy!

I'd really love to see us play each other. That would be something. The final's a bit optimistic though...for England anyway |

Happy for Wales. When you have Bale, Ramsey and Williams in the side, you have a fighting chance. Well done to Chris Coleman for getting it right with the squad. That's three home nations in the finals! Get in! |
