Do you want matte, satiny shine, shimmer, shine or really really shiny lips?
Do you find your hair sticks to your lippy? Does your lippy wander around your mouth or onto your teeth?
Different types of lipstick or gloss will get different results and some issues can be resolved by switching. Gloss will always stay tacky so is prone to smear but you'll get that wet-look shine.
If your lipstick wanders then opt for a more matte one with a lip liner but make sure it's not too hard or it'll be difficult to apply properly.
My current fave are the soap and glory lipsticks. They go on well, even the matte one isn't drying, they last and they don't smear.
It's worth paying a bit more for lipstick (and mascara, foundation and the pencils) as it does make a difference. |
