You don't have to give the keys back anymore. Leave them in the room.

Yup, somewhere clearly visible for the maid the next morning... I've had the call... "Sorry sir we couldn't find the key".. It was right next to the fricking kettle

As a couple we don't like to waste the room and stay the night

Do you book the hotel once you've met the person? What if you book in advance and they are time wasters and don't turn up? That would be my worry with a hotel meet.

Is there some shame or embarrassment in meeting in a hotel for sex ?

I just don't see the issue.

Check in and out as you normally would.

No need to be scuttling around.

We have been lucky, chatted for ages before meet and got feeling from that and veris that he would show. Also as a couple we have each other so a no show would be annoying but not the end. I'd say book a room that allows short notice cancellation or go halfs with the other person and get somewhere that can put deposit and they pay rest?

I skip into the reception, do a twirl......zip up my flies and slide the keys along the desk cocktail style!

We once had a short but very noisy afternoon meet in a small hotel. As we handed in the keys on the way out, the poor young lass on reception had a look of total shock on her face.

You're paying them. So you don't stay till the last possible minute, it just means they can turn the room round and get it back up for sale again.

Why would they mind if you leave early?

If you're really uncomfortable just leave the key in the room when you go.

If your shy about it (as a former receptionist at premier inn) just give the key back and say your just popping out for a drink/something to eat.

Well you two sound trusting, so I'll book our room in advance then. What's that? Sure you can keep the room for the rest of the night

Oh i used to regularly meet my ovely female FB in hotels for an afternoon of passion. One of us would prebook on the internet,we'd meet,,have drinks, make the most beautiful love and then depart and just drop the keycard at the esk..its not an issue,,hotels dont care,,they get to relet the room and receptionists know the score

On one occasion I left the hotel at 4am,with the man I had just spent the night with. As he handed the door card in I waved at the receptionist and said hello because I knew him personally. With a regular friend of mine I leave first and he leaves the card at reception on his way out. I'd be happy to drop the card off and say we're finished with the room. I've gone into hotels with men and walked out with them. If anyone asked me what I was doing in the room I would tell them straight. Having sex

Pay on arrival (if you haven't already done so on t'internet)

Don't use the minibar

Leave the room as you wish to find it

When you leave either hand your keys to reception, pop in the fast drop key box or leave them in the room.

Hotel staff have seen it all before. On being asked by the concierge "And how long is missy planning to stay re parking " *wink wink ~ I replied "depends if he's any good" *wink...:he laughed & said "fair enough"

I'd be really annoyed with any hotel staff who called me missy and made allusions to the reason for my visit!

I don't care what they actually think of me or even what they say to each other but patt of what I pay for is staff who can behave in a professional manner.

That kind of comment would see me having a chat with the manager.

It made me laugh so I just played him at his own game, got a free parking pass out of it too...

Central

The leaving is simple. It can be the booking and payment liability that may be an issue. If you don't need the room for any other purpose, if it's a non flexible booking, your payment card will likely be charged.

If one of you keeps the room then you might like to not have a 50/50 split.

Had my first hotel meet recently. He paid for the room, and I booked in a few hors before he arrived. After he left I got ready to leave. Just handed the card in and walked off!

At most big hotel chains the staff really couldn't give less of a shit, which is exactly how I like it.

Otherwise just leave the keys in the room.
