Some profiles seem exceptionally wordy, while others contain no more than a sentence.

So, how many paragraphs of a profile will you read before you lose interest?

Or do you just look at the pictures and ignore anything they have to say?

If I'm interested in someone I read all of it.

If it bores me I stop reading.

It's a perfect filter.

Brighton - even Hove!

If people get bored reading mine, then it's a filter. I don't have sex with drones.

A long profile doesn't indicate intelligence.

I've seen some that are paragraph after paragraph of negativity and everything they don't want.

My profile isn't long but if people can't be bothered or manage to read it, then why should I bother sharing my body with them? Answer: I shouldn't. And don't. It's a self filtering mechanism.

I don't waste time reading. At first I scan the text and get an impression. Don't want to read someone's life story.

Ours hopefully tells you a little bit about us, if people aren't interested, then they probably aren't that interested in meeting

There are many profiles that are too long and many that are too short, imo.

Keep it sweet, short and say what you do want, rather than that which you do not.
