Hey everyone.
What's your thoughts on us fuglies that aren't so photogenic? Would you prefer to see pictures that only show parts of our body or all of it regardless of shape and size? The reason I ask is I'm on the larger side and have big bum, tum etc. Is it best to let it all hang out or cover up modestly? |

"Show what your comfortable showing.

Ok so say for example I had a fat belly. I'd prefer to show other body parts rather than that. Only because I'd be self conscious. |

"As long as the photos are truly representative of you and not misleading, I don't think many would care.
You think? "
Nope. Obviously, you won't be for everyone but those who like you would probably want to see both. |

Good point. I may have to rethink this then. Thankx.

How is it? Would you rather present a false presentation by showing the odd boobs here or half an arse there and meet someone who makes you feel awful because they meet you and you are not what they expected? And therefore hurt you by walking out?

I don't think anyone on here would put a photo up that they consider ugly. I take loads of pics just to get one that looks halfway decent. However its not hard to get a pic that would make you look fab but not showcase what you perceive as your failings. Use camera angles and lighting to present yourself well but honestly. |

Show what you are comfortable showing. It is 100% up to you. Women have a much easier time getting meets on here, so I'm not really sure it will matter much.
If you were a single male I would say to show a body shot, regardless of whether you feel uncomfortable with your body because people should be able to get an accurate picture of who they are meeting...
Sadly, the state of affairs on here means women don't have to be as open as men.

Have a look at our photos. I have more of the ones that I like. I wouldn't take a photo of my belly showing every lump and bump, but it can be seen covered in lingerie. I wear lingerie at meets so it's the same as what they would see on a meet unless people ask me to be naked. If your just showing photos of slim areas (mine would be my wrist and ankle ) how will people know what they getting. I would hate for people to meet me thinking I looked one way and then they be disappointed on meeting me |

OP I'm very conscious of my tummy, I think it would be fair to show your shape, just wear something that covers it but still represents a true picture of you |

People who love what you have will not care what you think too much. As others say, the pics are one tool to work making your meets a good match and to give you more of what you'd like.
Obviously pro photographers and MrDDC on here, always set and shoot with their expertise, maximizing your assets. If you have lots of photos taken, you can then select what you view as the better ones from them.
Always be sure you feel the pics are right for you but this may partly about confidence, not just photogenic ability.
Rotate your pics too. Try a few and see what works best.
Just because we're not always fully confident or looking how we'd really like also does not make us not photogenic. You're photographs work for you when they attract others that you mutually like. |

You may not be able to see unless you look at my pics closely but I have big boobs, thighs & a fat belly.
I make it clear in my profile text & give my dress size so no-one can claim they have been misled |

When my profile is visible it states what size I am so I feel "dupe" is a tad strong that's all. |

I've added you as a friend so you can see my pics... I have wobbley bits but they're a fair representation of me. I take flattering shots, they're not deceptive cause that's what I look like but no-one needs to see my spare tyre or cellulite or stretch marks.

I was just answering your question and felt 'dupe' was the right word to use! As your question suggested you didn't want to present things as honestly as possible.
I am a size 6/8 but I still have a stomach I am not happy about, therefore I did my glove photo's as I was sick of people saying 'what a fantastic body you have' when I know I don't! Therefore I don't want to 'dupe' people into meeting a woman with the perfect body! |

I would say everyone takes flattering pictures but there is a difference between flattering and changing your appearance, noone is going to be for everyone but if you have clear pictures at least the ones that are attracted to you will message you and like what they see |

I hate my body. However I've has plenty pictures on my profile I've liked thanks to good angles and filters. I don't think it's giving anyone a false idea of what I'm like. If I was considering meeting someone then I'd have no problem showing them a full body photo but in no way would I be naked in it.
It's your profile and you should show whatever your comfortable with.
And that may vary. Some days I hide photos some days I show them dependent on my mood.
Get a selfie stick and have fun with it. You'll be amazed the confidence that might bring you xx |

Only upload what you feel comfortable with. I agree with the people above, there are ways to take photos which are flattering without being misleading. I don't think posting a photo that's flattering is deception, I'd always rather meet someone who has taken a bit of time and care over a photo than something where it's all hanging out. Experiment and have fun with it it takes me probably 40 photos to find one that I like. |

Not much more to add than others have already said other than to say that I'm sure that you're a lot more desirable than you think you are!
People tend to always be their own greatest critics and always think they look worse than they actually do and how others perceive them.
And loads of people really like curvy ladies and BBWs so there's gonna be people out there that think you're awesome lumps and bumps and all!
I think it's fair that people know what to expect so those that will like you for what you are can get to find you and meet you! And those that don't like you? Well move on and find those that do |
