As halloween approaches and we have an event to attend, how do I turn my prosthetic bite mark into something more gruesome?
I'm thinking some fake blood but is there some that are better than others? Should I redden the skin round it with stage paints or will it be over the top? If I do just a sponge or a brush? Does fake blood stain skin or clothes?
Never dressed up as an adult and after an hr on ebay and amazon I'm more perplexed than ever. Surely some of you lovely folks has pearls of wisdom to share?
Advice on what brand, what product, what technique all gratefully received

What you want is snazaroo its so easy to use. You can by a special fx starter kit which makes it easier.
You will need spirit gum to attach any wounds or hair. You can use the wax or putty to make wounds/bullet holes.
A stippling sponge and cake blood to do the graze effect and gel blood to show dripping blood - it will stain a kind of yellow colour but will come off skin with fairy washing up liquid |

I've already bought the latex type bite marks and some mastix glue to apply it's so it's the added extra gruesome that I'm looking for.
Yes pls about asking a friend and thanks for advice already. Need to sort this weekend or won't turn up in time |

In that case then you possibly need some fx wax just to blend it to your skin and then gel blood. Possibly just some makeup in navy black and red dusted over to create the start of a bruise.
I do my sons every year and people wait to see what he comes as now but snazaroo is definitely the best cheap buy |

The best thing to stick your fake bites down with is copydex glue , not nice smelling but we use it for stage productions washes off well too . Some fake bloods will stain people and clothes so do some face paints . It's also worth doing a test patch as some colours stain more , red , purple , green and orange. As well as can cause skin irritation.

"Look on YouTube.
There'll be loads on there.
YouTube is great for special fx make up tutorials. "
It's great for learning just about anything. It's not all fake ghosts/UFOs and adverts on every video(!) |

I checked and its latex stuff they bought on Amazon. It really does look amazing too. She's got two photos and they look like open wounds. |
