I must be !
I don't have feet like a hobbit, or those of a goblin. My toe nails are trimmed, and I take good care of my feet, I have to with all the running I do 
So how come I go through socks like a demon? 
I bought a pack of five from a well known high street chain,this week, and I've gone through the toes of two pairs within a day of wearing them 
Is anyone good at darning ?  |

It's not just cheap and cheerful though
I "splashed" out on a couple of pairs at £5 each and they weren't much better |

What shoe size are you? The sock might be just too tight and is under too much strain, or your shoes are rubbing on it. If your shoes are rubbing on them to such an extent that your getting through socks that quickly, you might actually be wearing the wrong size shoes.
I have had to start buying a half size bigger when I buy new shoes (adidas trainers especially). I think they are slowly shrinking them....like Mars bars and waist bands on trousers. |

I'm a 10 - 10 1/2 in shoes, and socks are usually 9-12.
Shoes are always fitted
