We’ve had a number of people at work who have been well and truly ‘caught out by the weather’.
Two have had to explain to their partners how they managed to get snowed-in… in completely different towns to where they should have been working. Another finally broke down on the M1 just outside of London after being stuck for hours… with a female passenger they shouldn’t have had with them… ooops. The most awkward probably being the guy who was meant to be stick up north … yet his company car was parked on a housing estate in the west midlands… which is where the police car slid into it.
Those pre-crimbo leg-overs have certainly 'cum' at a price this year.
