The basics of learning the guitar are the hardest part. Once you've mastered those and the two basic barre chord shapes you can play pretty much most things within reason. Keep it up, I've been doing it for over 30yrs and I still get a huge amount of satisfaction from learning a new tune. |

I've been playing for about 20 years. You're right, once you've mastered those basics you can pretty much play most things. It's so nice to be able to just grab the guitar if you're a bit bored or just want to chill out and bash out a tune. It can be very rewarding. |

It's one of those things I'm so glad I learnt. All self taught as well, not that I'm a master or anything. I really think more people should learn to play an instrument or just learn to do something creative. Just to be able to have that release can be so useful.
I'll have to serenade you sometime |

Good for you! I play bass.. I started learning the bagpipes last week - and I sound the same as an expert who's been playing for years, lol! |

I opt for Weetos myself. I'll then make a chocolate Nesquick and pour it on the fore mentioned Weetos, for extra chocolatey milk. |
