Morning fabbers.

Don't know if anyone is interested but if you noticed the Moon this morning I'm sure you will have also clocked the bright objects in the same area.

The really bright object down and left is Jupiter and further down is Venus. Mars is just up from Venus, but might be a bit faint.

Nothing like early morning geek.

a really good app for those with mobiles is 'Star Chart' - allows you to point your phone at an object in the sky and it will tell you what it is

It's one of the benefits of the nights drawing in looking at the skies. In a month or two Orion will start to become more prominent in the night sky, one of the most instantly recognisable constellations out there
