Well since I just bought my first ever CD player (always used to use my computer for music)
I have bought the entire bon Jovi catalogue.
Somthing about putting a CD in the player rather than using my phone to control iTunes feels alien to me but for some reason I enjoy listening to the music more when it's on a CD (and I don't mean because of the quality of an iTunes track) |

My last one was around 2007 then. Had to get Genesis's first album on CD as I only had it on vinyl. It even came as a double album with alternative takes to the original album and modern remixes (they were shit). All for less than a tenner!!! |

I've had that experience, some CDs have me longing for my old vinyls. |

DJ shadow are great, I have a wide appreciation of music, Classical, world, the lot, I follow Warp records in Sheffield, they have Aphex, Boards of Canada among others on their label, that's how I discovered NoW, The Killing Moon is my favourite Bunnymen track. |

Ocean rain is mine.Warp records beep and bleeps in the late 80's early 90's,underground club tunes.
Aphex Twin-we are the music makers.....classic!!
Boards of Canada I'm going to investigate.
Not quite classical but that guy Ludovico Einaudi does the score for This Is England and the following series.Immense!! |

The Aphex ambient albums are ace, try Music has the right to children by BOC, one of my favourite albums.

"Never bought a CD in my life. Only saw a handful."
Now this makes me feel old. I have lived through vinyls, cassettes and now cd's are vanishing. Back in the day we used to record the top 20 on sunday evening on blank cassette tapes lol. I wonder how many people here wouldnr havena clue about that lol |

You eventually developed a sixth sense, and would now the exact moment Bruno Brooke's would start his inane drivel. Why did the think we were interested in how many places a song had moved in the charts for the week before? |

N if you'd run out of blank tapes you'd nick one of your maws originals n cover the two holes at the top with sellotape or stuff them with blu tack or anything else as long as it let you record over it!
80's pirate kids! |

Trying to guess just when to pause and unpause. You couldnt move away from the massive hifi deck in the corner of the room. And as sods law would have it, in the middlemof a song the top would stop and you would have to quickly turn it over and start recording again. Always on your favourite song |
