Is it us , maybe it is but we are getting fed up with single guys and couples asking for face pics despite us saying specifically we don't give them out . To make matter worse they often don't have any pictures at all of themselves on their profile !!! What gives ???  |

I'd always say have 1 face pic in private to give to deserving people to see if they like what they are getting into because if they turn up and don't like what they see then it's just gonna be awkward. That's plenty though, 1 face pic should be enough anything after that is just pointless. |

I won't meet a person if I don't know what they look like, so if they refuse to send me a pic then I don't bother. If they send me a pic or they have a face pic on their profile, I send one back. |

we try and explain that its easy to put a pic on fab - have it in private to attach to a message - not in public - not in friends - and set it to disappear once _iewed - still people want to send it to phone or email - where we can keep it forever if we wanted to - but each to their own eh |

My point is that the majority don't want to compromise their own privacy whilst expecting it of others.
As in a game of cards many will want you to show your hand before they show theirs.
Unlike a game of cards though, many won't show their hand at all if there is no attraction.
This (in)action is then justified by various means usually revolving round well worn phrases such as 'well there message was unsolicited' or 'we didn't fancy them, so what's the point?'
The difference with the OP is that, if I am reading their profile correctly, they are upfront and honest about not wanting to share pics, whereas as others will share - but only their terms.
If you do not fit with their terms you have as much likelyhood of receiving their pics as you do of receiving ones from the op. |

I met a couple once who don't give out face pics, but I knew they were genuine and we'd been messaging quite regularly so agreed to meet them for a drink.
I have face pics on my profile so they knew who to look for in the pub .... This couple are now my best friends and were both very close indeed!
To think I could have missed out on that for the sake of not being a bit daring and thinking "Why not"
I'd do it again, lifes too short and I'd rather take chances and know either way rather than sit back and ponder the "What ifs"  |

It's not a matter of correction, it's a matter of perspective.
The OPs stance is just an exaggeration of the one taken by the majority of members.
I think their rant is somewhat misplaced, in that in joining sites such as this, we should expect a degree of people wanting to play by their rules, but I just don't see their stance being too different to that of many others on the site. |

How many of us have sent face pics (after chatting) only for that interaction to end there and then without receiving pics from the other party ?
I know I have : and I NEVER make first contact (unless my intention is purely social)

People have to be wary of giving out face pics of themselves are there are so many f&ke profile on here. I wouldnt recommend anyone putting their face on their front page. I would also suggest they watermark or otherwise personalise their pics and only supply them after a conversation has taken place. There are quite a few people on here who are in reality sat in their little room all alone and though they dont know it, their minds are totally warped. They sit there managing couples and female profiles even though they are a lonely male and get their jollies out of it. |

OP....you asked if it was you? It is. I think you are going to have to accept that most people do like to see face pics before they agree to meet. Most people like to be attracted physically to the person they are meeting for sex. Most of them. You do things differently which is fine, but it isn't going to change they way others do things by ranting at everyone. It is your issue OP, not everyone else. You clearly have met others who aren't bothered about seeing face pics so why not meet them again while trying to find others that aren't bothered? You aren't going to change the way the majority of people like to do things. You'll be far less ranty once you accept that. |

We wouldn't meet anyone with out seeing their face pics, if that makes us shallow so be it but we only play with people we are facially attracted to.
From there we have a socially to make sure we are mentally attracted to them too |

When sending face photos we auto remove them so less chance they will copy and keep. What I cannot figure out is if the op don't send face pics and doesn't ask for the meets photo how do you know who is who? |

There's really no need to be rude.
It may not be a date but as a single woman I want to put every effort into my own safety. The physical is not so important to me as the personality and mental connection and whilst I rely on my instincts a lot, I still want to see who I'm meeting.
For me, going along to an arranged time and place with no idea who I'm actually going to see when I get there is not high on my list.
There are two of you so you have each other from a safety aspect. You're not left sitting alone in a pub wondering if the next person through the door is the one who's come to meet you or not. I can't think of a situation in which I'd feel more of a plum.
However, I understand that we all do things differently. What works for one doesn't necessarily work for the next person. Perhaps you could try to understand that too? |

(Was a joke) usually I have found pictures if they do have them are ten years old talk men are dwarfs athletic men are podgy and not what they appear to be! (Not all some are honest but very few) like your not going to notice when ya meet them? X |

OP, I get what you're saying. You don't send pics and you don't expect pics of the other people either. Am I correct?
If so, then I understand where you're coming from. We only send face pics off site because we don't want the pics to have fabswingers associated with them. However, we would never meet anyone who refuses to send pictures at all.
Having said that, I understand that we are more demanding regarding face pics then others on here. It might be because we have different privacy concerns, but it still amounts to us being more demanding. You have to understand that people are going to have an issue with that. It doesn't mean you have to give in and send your pics, but I do think it involves a level of understanding.
Just don't meet the people who want face pics and don't stress over it.

I wouldn't meet anyone without seeing a pic of them first for one id have no frigging clue who I'm looking for and two if I'm not attracted to you id rather know that before wasting my time getting ready to meet someone I've no interest in.
Oh and A social meet is essentially a date it's a meet in a public place to see if you want to take things further |

I have to agree that a face pic proves nothing, same as a phone call prior to a meet. How can you be expected to verify someone you have never previously met in such a way?
However, if I haven't seen you on cam in a chat room (face, not wanking ) then I'm not meeting you. Simples 
Also the OP just wants to meet men for sex so they aren't so choosy about what they look like, and who is to say they don't ask for cock pics instead? |

Wouldn't meet anyone without knowing what they looked like and wouldn't give my number out so they could send me a pic either. Photos can be uploaded and kept in private, so can be attached to messages, don't even have to go in friends only pics.
But if that's how you do it, it's your choice...just know i wouldn't meet without seeing pics first as knowing if you're visually attracted to someone saves time being wasted by going on a social to find out you might not be. |
