Hurrah! Congrats! That must be a massive relief!
I had a mate when I was younger who had a twisted testicle and he had to have one removed. When he was healed we gave the other a test run and it was grand.
It's easy to say that you shouldn't worry, like any scar/medical issue, it's visible to you but most people won't care so try not to worry too much. |

Firstly may I say I am very happy your have received the good news of being all clear.
Secondly as a previous poster has said, its a scar, its part of you and nothing to be worried about, but possibly something to be proud of in the future.
I have a c-section scar I don't particularly like the look of but no-one has ever been put off by it, and if they are, its their loss. I will always be grateful for my scar because I know why it is there and I hope you will feel the same about yours.
Again, my happy thoughts are with yoy |

Well done OP. Congratulations. Don't worry about the scar. Think of it as a battle scar and wear it with pride. A reminder of what you've fought through.
And don't worry, anyone worth knowing won't be bothered by the scar I'm sure. |

Mention it when you first start talking. If they have an issue about it, they are not worth meeting.
I got the all clear back in 2004 from the same as you, brilliant feeling when you get the news. |

I have met some one who had undergone surgery for testicular cancer and both his testicles were removed. We were at a club and he only told me once we were in the 'hut' and, erm, got down to it
My only concern was that I might hurt him accidentally (not sure how). He told me not to worry so, I didn't. We had a great time
Checking for scars didn't even cross my mind
Great that you have recovered. I very much doubt that people think of checking scars and if they do, I wonder why they would |

Congratulations on reaching the end.
As for only having one and a scar, well I've met a few guys who only had one. One was born that way, a couple had had surgery for different reasons, a couple had had testicular cancer. One guy had even had a falsie fitted!
The scars fade to practically nothing and it becomes pretty unnoticeable. In fact a couple of them didn't mention anything and it took quite a while before I noticed! I must have been distracted by other things...
As someone who has whacking great big scars that are sometimes visible when I'm fully dressed my experience is that most people are too busy looking at you, the person, to notice the blemishes on the skin. |
