Ok . Sorry to jump on you with this but what follows is pretty true. Any contagious illness is ducking serious. Ignoring it and going in to work is horridly irresponsible. You risk infecting others and you have no clue what their life includes. Small babies, frail elderly, sick family members.

You should be staying in bed and totally minimising your contact with others and the knock on effect your "just a bug" can have.

This is a bugbear of mine and I absolutely loathe people that come into work sick. Have a great day

Try telling my boss to allow me the time off then without all the stress caused by the back to work "chats" she gives us if i dare to take time off when ill !!!

There is no allow involved. We aren't the US or some other rathole of a country. Go to the doctor, get a note and get well. All you'll be doing is lowering office productivity, by making others sick. If your boss doesn't understand this, he isn't much of a leader. I am sorry you're in that kind of situation. Get well soon!
