Are you just too nice...
Jump to: Newest in thread
People daren't misread respectful for too nice with me. I don't hold grudges but very happy to disregard any boundaries if others step over mine. I am generally very kind and sweet but only the stupid or ignorent would misinterpret that.
That said, I will go the extra mile for many people and believe in a generosity towards others and the world. 'Too nice' sounds like someone who's more of a victim, not willing to see and speak the truth. |

I think people wrongly assume that certain characteristics point to doormat-like tendancies. Being quiet, shy, kind, always see the best in others etc. That doesn't mean you don't possess healthy boundaries. |

I think 'nice' is a bit of a namsy pamsy word if I'm honest. It's not really one I use often. I'd say 'oh you're too cute' if someone does something cool for me or 'great shoes'. I'd never say 'nice shoes' cause that to me sounds a bit lame.
This makes sense in my head. |

The pooch speaks highly of you
As for me, I'm definitely no bad guy, and probably too polite for my own good.
I wouldn't say I'm nice, being all modest like |
