On Saturday one of my very rare and expensive vintage Fender Telecaster's was stolen from my dad's house.
The police were informed but couldn't possibly come out until Wednesday afternoon.
I put the word out on Facebook through a few musician pages and this morning I got a call from a local music shop. They have my guitar and the identity of the thief.
Have a happy Monday.... |

I know a lot of missing children get found, stolen items recovered even traffic up dates are spread quicker through sites like Facebook and such like.
Sometimes social media can be useful for things other than sharing your latest selfishness. |

I've ised Facebook so many times for local things like a dead cat we found at the side of the road. Found the owner in no time and the little fellow had a nice send off x |

"That's awesome. Did they just take possession of it when the person came in to sell it?"
They purchased it in good faith but are happy to return it and they'll obviously seek compensation through the legal system. |

You must be over the moon OP."
if the dog was intelligent enough to post on Facebook, surely it could have foundhow to get home.

Yes, probably.

Good on the shop! Real honesty there as they are the ones taking the potential loss. Please name the shop and spread good news about them in return. |

It's Intasound in Leicester. The guy messaged me at 09:10 this morning once he'd confirmed it was my guitar. |
