Yeah I suppose there's all sorts of reasons to block and sometimes if you are polite back and say thanks but no thanks they try and persuade you otherwise  |

No...we block people daily who don't meet our criteria, especially those who view our profile, might sound harsh but we like to look at the profiles of people who view ours, but we found it was the same people nearly everyday, and we where never going to meet them, so found it easier just to block them  |

No of course not. I regularly block all those i perceive to be fake, non responders or cock teasers...why waste anyones time? Block them all and drive them off this site i say |

I block if someone messages me that doesn't match what I am looking for, saves the hassle, for both of us, of them possibly messaging again further down the line. I do reply with no thanks first though, not just block. |

I'd say yes, if they've nice and respectful then what's the reason for the block?
Also if you were going to keep that trend going and block everyone who's nice and respectful, you'd only be left with the trolls and the mentally deficient |

I used to think it was rude, then we got messages from people who either don't take no for an answer or message us then don't respond to our reply, only to send another identical message several months later. Or the guy who messaged us on a couples profile with the female section deleted saying can we meet even though my partner has left me |

My block list is very healthy!!! I block for three word messages, people that keep messaging me that I never respond to, I block like a crazy person sometimes!! |

I've been block a few time already and i never been rude to these people..like someone mailed me say i like to bed you but block me from replying or asked for a photo then block you after sending a photo would u not say that being rude... |

I tend to blocked by the arrogant member one who make big demands then throw their dummies out the pram when they don't get their way
of course I return the favour and block them too
it's ever so funny when you bump into them at social or a party
they want to play with you until you remind them
then they vanish

If the same thing was done to you and you were OK with it then yes if not then no.
Treat others in this debauched world of sex meets how your happy to be treated yourself that way your staying true to yourself and true to the people you may or may not meet .
Like attracts like so really its the only way to behave if your hoping to meet someone on the same wavelength as you .
I'd personally not do it because I see blocking as a punishment a tool to punish and stop people from harassing you if their not doing that then there's no need to block in my opinion . |

It's probably been said a thousand times but a block merely means that there's no interest in communication for any purpose or maybe the user doesn't want their profile seen by the blocked party. It's not in the slightest bit 'rude', it is how the site and community works.
it helps save wasted efforts on both parties behalf or potential embarrassment, if others are potentially know.
Block as you see fit. Send a 'no thank' if you feel like it etc.
Or add your thoughts onto the site feedback threads, as there have been proposals for a 'block and no thanks' type button, that would kill two birds with one stone, if you don't want someone left in the dark. |
