"That I can do anything if I put my mind to it"
I was going to say something along the lines of 'the saying that you make your own luck is so true' - but I think yours sums it up better! If you really want something and put proper effort into achieving it, chances are you will succeed! |

"Today, I realised that I've always wanted to raise kids, but never wanted to get married
What have you realised recently?"
I realised it's time to be the person I an and not what society expects me to conform to, taken a long time for this, including marriage and 3 kids...hence why I am now here |

"Still not part of the forum "
I've just realised I have no idea what that mean. You've posted so clearly you are leaving a mark on the forum.
The other thing I realised today is that watching post watershed television with a teenager can be really embarrassing. |

I've realised this weekend that maybe I CAN do this 'life' malarkey. Baby steps of course, but the future doesn't seem quite so devoid of hope and purpose. |

Why do you two think that?
How does one become part of the forum if it's not joining in as you do?
I've realised that I quite like my job! |

Lots of positives it's great reading all of the responses people have, to those of you that are "not a part of the forum" though, I empathise as it's not often people respond to my posts in other peoples threads either, but that's probably because most of what I write is shite lol
Congratulations to those of you who have made steps towards being happier (or at least more contented) people, and I wish you the best of luck on the rest of your journey
Also big congratulations to those of you who have realised that twitching your nose is awesome lol |

"I worry about other people too much "
Yes, if it gets too bad, that can be a problem. Look into CCI (centre for clinical intervention) with the worry part. That helped calm my worry centres. Not completely effective, but it's manageable now |

That it really is alot more fun to be with someone who appreciates you for what you are and is proud to be seen with you. Rather than someone who casts their net very wide and is embarrased to be associated with you. |

There isn't a forum clique. It's just funny to say there is sometimes because certain people think they are in one.

I've realised I don't need a reason to be stupid, just a venue.
I've realised that if I have 26 minutes to get out of the house for work and I spend most of it logged on to fab I'll be late for work.
I also realise that I've realised this before.
And in the spirit of an excellent thread, I've realised that genuinly making a difference to people's lives makes me feel humbled.
And that I like the feeling.... |

This. Unless he's a she. In which case kick her out. Unless it's a cat, in which case it's a cats prerogative, but that's the only acceptable reason for not kicking them out |

And I'm not a total failure. That there is hope out there for us all. |

Can you be in a room full of people you know well and still feel lonely?
Do you often feel alone?
You may be on your way to depression. |

If I'm ever in a room full of people I know feeling lonely then it's usually because I don't like them, and thus don't really want to be there! I am quite a solitary creature but I do spend way too much time on my own |

It's a possibility. Those types of feelings can be markers.
