Like you, I have only been on the scene for about a month but have met 4 cpls now (1 from elsewhere), all of whom have been really great. I will be looking to see all of them again and count them as friends.
As long as you are being honest, the meets will come, the site really does work..! |

You may be genuine... but you haven't really made much of an effort on your profile...
think of your profile as your shop window! give people a reason to say "yes I have to meet that person"
if all the effort you have made on your profile is 30 words (yes... i counted them) then I'd feel lucky if I was you that you managed to get a meet in the 5 weeks you have been here....
Like others have said... go to clubs... go to socials... go to munches... get yourself known (and no, a whinge isn't really the best way to do that!)
the site gives you all the tools you need... if you decide not to use them to your best advantage then the blame falls squarely at the foot of just one person...

You need to re-write your profile and add some depth to it. People are going to look and if they like they will message you or reply. Just be genuine and honest and tell people a little about your self. Be open, friendly and you will get more response
