Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

What with Cradle to Grave and now The Kennedys it's like reliving my youth.

The pouffe on the Kennedys is exactly like the one we had.

It's making me all nostalgic.

I didn't notice the radiators. I'm going to have to keep my eyes peeled next time.

Our Trim Phone was beige.

We didn't have a trim phone

I loved all the little details, always find it amazing when they go to so much trouble and you just go "omg, it was just like that!"

Both programmes are rich on detail, but I suppose that's because we're just about young enough to remember it well.

I also really love the colouration so that they look like they were made in the 70s (well, it's better than what we had but it adds to the feel).

Haven't seen the other one.

Occasionally I manage to catch "whatever happened to the likely lads" and bore the kids with tales of "the olden days"

The other one was saturated with 70s porn last night. I wasn't expecting that as I was watching with one of the children.

Did they have porn in the 70s?

Wasn't it all just Robin Askwith and Benny Hill?

It was the magazines and they showed the images! 70s porn was tame enough to be shown at 9.05pm on a school night now.

We were all so innocent!

It wasn't until I went to university and someone had American mags that I worked out what the heck was going on
