Good thread yesterday from the OP about the forum being inane and how we spend too much time on it as opposed to sorting meets out etc.Personally I think he raised some great points.
But i've got sucked in by the forum and crave it like a junkie craves his next fix !
So come on....defend the forum !
For me I could never get bored of a music thread on a sex site....It's absolute top-notch !

It's something to do, and although it's not very fulfilling overall you can get some good advice here. There's some funny people who make me laugh and some intelligent people who say some interesting things.
Not the best forums i've been on but for a sex site i'm glad it's not 100% sex based chat, although i enjoy that at times. |

for me it's a laugh nothing more nothing less ,with the occasional fool thrown in for good measure "I fucked my best mates pregnant wife" and various others but in general good fun Dundee cake for me |

don't need to... and besides... if i wanted to talk about sex 25/8... i have the swinging forum next door for that...
the lounge is for talking about all sorts of nonsense not named sex...
so bake off.... music.... rugby..... shags and his haribo's..... police sirens going nee-nah or woo-woo..... I don't care....  |

The forum is great. Just by chatting and talking about irrelevant shit I've had quite a few messages and interactions that I'd never have had. Demonstrates to people that you have a personality beyond attempting to shag everything that moves. |

I personally enjoy visiting the forums. I've come across people, profiles, made friends and found potential meets of people that dont use the chat rooms etc so I probably wouldnt have found them if I hadnt been noseying in the forum..

I love the forums!! It's actually nice to have a chat about every day stuff as much as I love sex (don't we all!) it's nice to know that there are the same kinds of likeminded folk out there that want to talk about other stuff to, keeps this a 50/50 kind of environment! |

Not sure why the forum needs defending. People use it the way they want to. Good for banter and advice on many different subjects. Some use it for meets and some don't. Some join the current clique teenager style. Some think for themselves.
I also think there's a heck of a lot more forum readers/ lurkers than the alleged '1% forum user' tally. |

How can you organise meets when the supply and demand aint there tho? So yes the forum is a great pass time and fun as well, comedy gold and as well a good place to catch up with the forumiters  |

The forums are a great and fun way of getting a sense of how someone's mind works (or not, in some instances)...surely that's a good way to see if there is a mental connection... as well as a good opportunity to have a perv? |

this is one of the best forums around we all use the site how we want to .. I spend most of it in the lounge cos I like the variety on it talking about sex 24 7 can get dull in the end and I find the comedians on here sometimes hilarious |

Some days I get bored of the forum, but most of the time it's a laugh and friendly and something to past the time.
I admit the last time I was on I was using the forums and not interested in arranging meets, this however has changed this time round, im actively looking and arranging meets for the coming months.

The forums make the site more addictive, its nice to pop in now and again, have a read, drop in and post something whether its taken notice of or not I'm not bothered, its interesting to see other peoples _iews and maybe say my own
Not everyone has time to meet all the time, with work and family so its something to keep us occupied |

Only a small percentage of people on fab pop in here.
Its good to have fun threads that make you chuckle.
Serious threads to make you think.
Fab is what you make of it. I have made some great friends . Long live the forums.with out them it would just be , mail a female and no reply because they get bombarded.

Over the last few weeks I have not been on the forums anywhere near as much as I used to .
And I haven't missed them at all .
I pop on here and there , read the same crap , ignore most of it , and comment on the odd one or two posts . Then wonder why I bothered .
Without a doubt , fab has a wonderful cross section of interesting people - we have met many of them . And that's why we are on fab , to meet interesting , like minded people to swing with . Perhaps that's why the forums tend to frustrate us more than give us entertainment or inspiration .

To me, the forums & meeting people are two completely separate parts of Fab.
They sometimes overlap but generally they don't.
I love the forums, there are some great people on here. I really like a lot of the women on here & would love to meet a lot of them in the flesh over a bottle of wine.
I also love chatting in PM's to men who message me & arranging social meets that lead to fuck meets so I'm happy with how I use Fab on its entirety |
