Is anyone doing it?
I'm doing it but ending it a few hours early for cheekys party (and paying the fine for doing so)
It's going to be a hard slog for me as I really like a drink (not quite to alcoholic standards!!) but I drink at home around 3 times a week, I do a demanding job and I wind down when I get home with a glass (or bottle) so it's going to be tough and I need a new routine.
Apart from a glass of alcohol how do you wind down after work? |

"I've about it but also enjoy a glass of wine most weeks to wind down!
What's the fine for breaking the Stop for a few hours?! "
You can get people to buy you golden tickets so you can drink they are £15 minimum
I will be keeping to it the rest of the time though hoping that when I get out of the habit I won't start it again in November and raise money for charity at the same time |

I am I might finish a couple of days early because I'm going on holiday, but I'll be doing a solid 4 weeks so it doesn't feel like too much of a cop out. |

Same here. A cup of tea is my way of chilling out. I don't wear a bra (much!) so don't have to worry about that |

"I haven't had a drink since last New Years eve. Is this for people giving up drinking?"
No it's give up for a month and gets sponsored to do so, it's for Macmillan.
As said above I drink at least 3 times a week so will be challenging
My social life is full of people who drink lots too, looks like I will be the driver |

Thanks, hadn't heard of it until now. I thought it might be similar to stoptober. |
