i just wanted to say goodbye to a lady i know who is leaving the site today.

the mails i have shared with you i have enjoyed and i thank you for your online friendship with me.

i hope when you have had time you will come back and say hi.

you will be missed but i hope you have a great christmas, stay safe and return when it is right to do so xxxxxx

Its a shame when anyone leaves the forums, if they dont want to continue swinging then all well and good, but if its for other reasons then its a shame as everyone has a good point to make and diversity makes these forums - you do need to be pretty strong to survive it sometimes but always stay true to yourself and dont back down if you disagree, say what you feel, thats my belief

No I do think you do have to be quite strong willed. Yes to me and you Granny it is a conversation in type and I dont get a shit what people say about me particularly and I get the sense you are the same, but not everyone is. It could be quite upsetting for some and its a shame if they enjoyed the forums but felt constantly aggrieved by other posters.

But then, on the other hand, if you are happy to dish out comments yourself, you have to big enough to take them back. I never sit on the fence, Id rather not post than be a "yes" or a kiss ass to people on here

Probably for the best that they have gone then. If they were that sensitive it might affect them too much.

I tend to think you have to have slightly thicker skin if you choose this kind of site in the first place though.

think the whole point of the intrique is that she ha d left the site before the OP said his goodbyes ,so wasnt here to see the love !! unless of course she had created another profile and was smiling to herself ..and she seemed to be one tough cookie so im guessing she wasnt upset by any posts ? it didnt take much working out for regular forum posters with good memories who had been on the receiving end !!!

The person is probably back already but if not....

I can't see the point of starting a thread for someone who you are good friends with who has meant to have left or leaving that day as she won't see it, I am sure you must have another form of contact that you can use that might be more useful.

As for anyone being on the "recieving end" sometimes people only see what they want to see, and don't realise that if you can't take it, it is best not to give it out or act like an idiot.

This just seems daft now having this running.
