Been looking for a job for about 5 months cos I don't like where I am and I only do two 10 hour shifts a week!
Its hard to find work and a month will be over before you know it. Time you get your application in, time they sift them, contact potentials, interview them, get a start date. Can take longer than a month. |

its not dangerous if you understand what you are potentially getting into and are prepared for that... which must the case.
I've done the same twice, and walked from a job im not happy in rather than get taken for granted. its a very brave decision and all those who will say you aren't doing the right thing actually wish they had the balls to do it. sure you will get a new job soon xx |

I got made redundant 2 weeks ago.
I wouldn't dare leave without a job to go too
Thankfully I'm getting paid up to the new year and with careful spending I can make it last 6 months
Job luck finding something new. |

What do you say in the interview as to why your looking for work? "I left my last job without another one to walk into". It doesn't sound good to a prospective employer. Just make sure your reasons for leaving will be seen as sound by them. |

This seems to be a common thing now, loads of people have done in my place. People can only take so much crap, before they say enough is enough. |

That's fine... if you are rich or don't have a mortgage/kids to feed. |

Well done I really want to tell them to do one daily. But can't find anything else at the moment. |

How will you support yourself if you don't secure employment? In these current times very brave/foolish, can't decide which, but best of luck! |

I'm freelance and in my experience there are jobs around just quite a few people chasing them. It's important to make sure you have a good up to date CV with references, be prepared to make lots of phone calls/emails and keep chasing/communicating with employers/agencies up when they promise to get back to you. |

Good luck. Hope you find somthing and its a better job than your last one.
I'm currently waiting it out till after Christmas. My boss is a lazy asshole I'm the youngest member of staff but i seem to be the only one who doesn't act like a child when I get my own way.
I can't afford to walk out and I've been told by a friend that January is always the best time to look in my line of work (bar and restaurant) due to the fact that alot of people stick it out till Christmas then leave opening up new jobs.

I have lots of experience in different areas, I'm quite lucky that I don't have lots of out goings, I can do bar, office, reception, care, cleaning, kitchen work, anywhere is better than where I was to be honest, I'm taking a huge gamble but I would rather take this then be even more unhappy!! |
