I think it would be a close fight.
The Falcon has the speed and monvrability (spell check isn't working)
Where as the enterprise has the brute force strength especially with photon torpedoes on board.
A much better fight would be the falcon vs the defiant. |

The Enterprise has superior defence and attack capabilities but the Falcon is more manoeuvrable with the right pilot. A Bird of Prey versus a T.I.E. fighter would be a space dogfight I'd like to see. Throw in Serenity pulling a Falcon and hiding and I'd be in spaceship heaven. |

Lol at all the geeks and nerds being flushed out by this thread.
Someone said Star Destroyer v Enterprise would make more sense, in which case I'd go for Star Destroyer (carrying a fleet of tie fighters). The Falcon wouldn't stand a hope against the Enterprise - the best Han Solo could do would be to run away or hide. |

Well according to Star Trek Amada 2 the enterprise e is fitted with a corbomite reflector which in effect reflects incoming weapons fire back to where it came from, if that's the case chewie is one scorched wookie! |

The corbomite manoeuvre was a bluff! It didn't exist. The falcon doesn't have the firepower to tickle Enterprise.
Jeri Ryan is a stunning lady.

The Millennium Falcon is a freight hauler with just two.........count em......two turrets (although each contains a quad mount laser cannon). Even the oldest version of the Enterprise carried significantly more fire power than that. Add in multiple phaser banks, quantum torpedoes and tractor beams (reverse polarity in 1 second intervals to create a pull push effect and you get a massive shearing effect), and i am afraid its game, set and galactic empire to the Enterprise. |

So they arguements seem to be, that although the Enterprise is more advanced, has a professional crew (rather than a scoundrel, a farm boy, a hermit and a teddy bear), vastly outsizes, out guns and out classes the Millennium Falcon, that some people, just think that the MF is cooler |

Come on, get with the reality program ( ). The Falcon is a heap of junk, even Han himself refered to it as not the best, or something like that.
Now, The Enterprise is a whole can of Federation whoop ass, which the Kilngons, Romulans and various other entities have tried to get shut of. To date, no one (other than JTK) has managed to do that. |

Its not even streamlined!! If it tried to tske off and enter atmosphere like shown, it would burn up, or at the least have bits fall off it. |

Not really. Galactica is primarily a carrier, with its offensive and stike capabilities in its fighter squadrons. Fairly well armoured, but once its CAP has been eliminated, vulnerable to missile strikes even with its prodigious anti missile batteries. Plus, one hit on its flight deck and its toast. |

Galactica is slow and can't manoeuvre it depends on the convoy system and its Vipers to protect it. |

I was kinda thinking along the same lines. The Enterprise is your Aston Martin DB9 and the Falcon a Yamaha YZR500. One exudes class and the other is not as good but is just cool. |

Quite possibly, although the defiant was still large about the same size as the voyager. To find a similar sized craft in the trek universe youd need to look at a runabout from ds9 or the delta flyer from voyager |

Has anyone realised , that han would let the enterprise, tractor beam the falcon in to the shuttle bay.
Hide as he's done before and then capture the enterprise, selling it to jabber the huts replacement, who will turn it into an orbital brothel for the rich and influential beings of the empire.
Han knows this and plants listening devices all over the ship, for new Republic intelligence.
Ultimately leading to the Defeat of the new order!
