I'm not sure if it was a repeat last night of Piers Morgan life stories, but they played back a radio interview that John Lydon did in the late 70's early 80's , he outed Jimmy Saville and was banned from the BBC for years!
He said there were many of Savilles type in the public eye, we should be bringing these people to book.
Also, John Lydon is a really nice genuine bloke! |

If anyone has read Irvine Welsh's novel Ecstasy there is a character called Freddie Royle who is a celebrity necrophiliac and trustee of a hospital, obviously based on Savile. The fact the book was written in 1996 shows that people knew about what went on for some time. It's a disgrace that nothing was done about it or the MP sex ring going on at the time but yet people have been locked up for not paying council tax |
