But when ?

After a bit of sledging yesterday it sounds like a zoo social should be arranged

Nominate your favourite zoos here

I'm a member of Chester zoo

The new Islands area is coming along nicely. The macaques are enjoying their new habitat, the tropical house is great, orangs and tigers are moving in shortly

It's true a lot of zoos were cages, but the habitat provided nowadays is so much better, and the work that the zoos do, behind the scenes, in conservation is sometimes remarkable

Yorkshire Wildlife Park is excellent, they rescue loads of Animals from other Zoos, they have bags of space and they are part of a breeding programme to reintroduce Amur Tigers and Leopards back into the range, they have both had cubs recently.

"YAZOO is my favourite zoo.

Love Allison Moyet

She has an excellent voice, is she still going?"

Yep, you can follow her on Twitter.

Hi fabbers, I'm sorry to say, but I'm going to have to back out of this social

Some may recall that a few weeks ago I was in Birmingham awaiting my daughter's audition for the Royal Ballet, well she's had a call-back and it's on Sat Dec 5th, the same day as the social

So I'm a very proud Dad, but it means I can't meet you lovely people

If anyone wants to take on the reigns of this, I'll support them all the way, with my local knowledge and zoo membership

Thanks guys ^ ^^

It's not every day that you get to audition like this, so of course it's my top priority

But am also very conscious of letting people down

Perhaps we could reschedule for the new year ?

I'm surprised no-one mentioned Colchester zoo. Last time I checked it was classed as one of the best zoos in Europe

Super CONGRATS!!!! Awesome news!

I had just been persuading Marc to go. Maybe I can work on him for Miss I's social instead, now.

Put it aside for now and things can be rescheduled. Great news!
