Well there was a guy asking for a friend on pof, he actually had a really decent profile and laid out what he was looking for, his wife was doing the same, from what I remember they had had kids and jobs and kind of got a bit lost, don't k is if anyone replied to them or not |

Good friends are very hard to find...on here you find a lot of fair weather ones and peeps pretending to be a friend then on the odd occasion you do find a true friend. |

I've found I have made friends with people along the way. No one is more or less important they just seem to slot in with that moment in time.
Drinking buddies moved aside for NCT mates, when kids got older work mates resurfaced along with new friends from various hobbies I have.
I think when you're older a couple of ways to meet others is either through the kids or social groups.
I agree that it can be harder to make friends when you're older i think I've just been lucky with mine.

And me. I know lots of people and am generally quite social but I'm enough of a loner and happy enough in my own company to not really crave lots of close friends |

I have a very few, lifetime close friends.
Then I have others who are good friends. My best guy friend I met on here. Been seeing each other 3 years now, never even kissed.
I have 2 other guys I consider as friends from here. So it is very possible to find just friends on here
