Most of the people I've met have been fairly local .. It does beg the question what is the ideal distance for a meet (ie not too close to home, and not too far away..)? |

I was also surprised how many swingers live within five miles of me too.
I tend to ask for face pic before sending mine
Quite often bump into a few while shopping too
End of day we r all here for same reason so why worry |

We have the river Thames between us and fabsters within 5 miles which means a journey of 30 miles to get to them after having to go over the Dartford bridge.
5 miles as the crow flies puts us well into Kent.
There are lots of fabsters in the same area as us but there could be a lot less than 6 degrees of separation between us so we won't meet them. |

I have vague memories of Hadleigh Castle-walking through the fields all the way from Leigh Rail station- is that castle still there? It was only a couple of walls or so if I recall? I lived at Leigh on Sea when I was a puppy, went to North Street Primary School and started my high school years at Belfairs before moving away)... |

Well that could be one reason but there are others you know.
Public job - school / police / MP etc, etc.
Or maybe i just don't want someone coming up-to me in public saying they recognise me from somewhere.

It's not the distance per se, but some people lack common sense discretion and I don't want someone to walk up to me and my family and say 'great shag, Steve' which they are more likely to do if they live 5 miles away than 100. |

We aren't all here for the same thing though and I've read tales in the forums of women being approached while out with their families or at the school gate, some people have no idea of what discretion means.

Don't see the problem.
If you are discreet and don't intend fucking them in the street.
I live a 10 minute walk from a fabster who I meet on occasion. I may speak if I see her out and she is on her own.
I have another just around the corner, even closer. Never met, never spoken, but have seen her out and about.
Possibly lots of guys too. But as I don't look for them, I wouldn't know. Even if they are within 5 miles.

It's the ones that are whitin a quarter of a mile that make us a little nervous
Always have a few that are classed within a mile but lately have had a few showing up as a quarter of a mile away
