"Possibly an rather fault or damaged insulation behind the stereo itself. Does it have a CD changer?
*earth fault*"
I've had problems with earth connections not been strong enough, but only when running at high volume on the head unit, it would cut out then start working after a short time |

The usual culprits would be the earth points on the chasis leg or more often the gearbox earth. |

Mine was the Earth in the back, just needed the paint scraping back a touch more, was easy to sort, only took a few minutes.
I've had all sorts go wrong! Blown fuses, degraded wiring still not managed to blow my 300 amp fuse yet though
Even managed to wreck a 3000 watt sub
It's all part of the fun |
