Soothing music...

The Mamas and the Papas always cheers me up. Mozart relaxs me because I sometimes follow one of the background instruments rather than the whole caboodle. Rap music irritates me. I really am a grey haired old bastard. |

If I'm particularly tetchy I don't always want music at all, but have an app with rain sounds and stuff like that which can be soothing. Or classical music, something like Debussy is calming for me. |

Slipknot - psychosocial. Not sure whether it will calm you. Makes me feel better after listening |

What app is that? Does it have the sound of the sea on it? |

I think it's called Relax Melodies, but there are a few of them. Has wave sounds, storms, frogs, all kinds of stuff. |

Some fantastic music, I'm making a lovely pacifying playlist right now. I've just remembered that I used to calm myself with Reef - Lullaby when I was about 15. |

Something I like listening to to chill out to is an album by Tipper called Broken Soul Jamboree. It's an instrumental album with a lot of acoustic instruments from around the world blended with electronic music. |

You might want to listen to to an Australian musician called Tony O'Connor who incorporates nature sounds such as rain, storms, bird song etc into his music. All very relaxing, apart from the odd didgeredoo. Some of his stuff onYoutube. |

I find listening, well singing along to musicals like West Side story, Phantom, Les Mis relaxing.
I also like the classics like Adagio for Strings, Vaughan Williams, Vivaldi 4 Seasons. |

My happy music is the flying theme from ET. Never fails to cheer me up. In fact if I am in a proper fowl mood I won't listen to it as I know it will sort it x
Also love listening to out of Africa soundtrack or John Barry and John williams in general and a bit of hans Zimmer thrown in x or enigma |

"Doors - This is the end. Always find it soothing for some reason. "
Intrinsically tied to the end of Apocalypse Now in my head... can't listen without thinking of Marlon Brando/some bull being slaughtered.
Lou Reed - Coney Island Baby
