I see this word (or variations of it) used quite a lot in Fab, and I can't help but wonder what it actually means to some people.
In particular, the profiles that use it, then have pics of them with previous past play partners posted, now it's their profile they can of course run it how they choose, but it doesn't seem to be the most discreet thing to do, even if you have permission,
Is it just me over thinking it and taking the word too literally? I'm curious |

"But if they have permission from the people in the pics it doesn't mean they wouldn't be discreet to those that request it,"
We have no idea if they have permission from the person. I don't meet guys with women in their pics. Just don't trust them. |

"Isn't having veris indiscreet then? Our veris tell all who we've met & in some cases, exactly what we've done with them "
Yes it is arguable that they are. I don't post ones that I consider to be indiscreetly written as a blow by blow account, which I think is why I find it indescrreet to show the pics your showing your most intimate moments with that person surely if you're discreet it's a private matter?? |

I know they have their permission because? "
You don't I agreed with kittymama, you can only take their word on permission and as they have shown willing to post it's a potential risk and not exactly discreet,
In some cases permission is sought and only used with I assume but you cannot be confident it is, |

To me discretion means you don't talk about other people directly, show images of them or blab to mates about them.
I know that people disagree with me because they often say "i didn't mention their name so it's ok."
So lots of people think it's ok to talk about or show pictures of people as long as they can't be identified and i don't get that. |

I don't like pics that show previous meets in them either. |

"Discretion to me on a guys profile means no public cock pics or others in their pics and no detailed verifications on their profile.
"
I don't find gential shots particularly discreet either it's why I have none |

That's the part I don't get either"
It's quite acceptable on here though. I quite often mention it to people when they're running a meet down and they act all surprised even when I point out that anyone reading their comments is going to think that they'll discuss them the same way if they ever met. |

All they true but of course "that won't ever happen to them" |

To me, discreet means that if you see me on here and recognise me from rl, don't say anything to mutual friends, don't tell rl people I am here, and if we meet in rl don't mention fab.
A bit like being a spy |

I think its one of those pointless words that people put in to pad out their profile, a bit like "professional".
We hope people wont shout out something in the middle of Tesco, but that's about as much as you can hope for! |

I met a guy and thought I could trust him, met him again and was videoing me! I was blindfolded but could see under the blindfold. I never met him again. |

"would the discretion Police do a DBS on my profile please, I'm interested to know my indiscretions "
Omg!
Is that Mrs ddc with you in your 2nd photo?
What a way to find out - You could have been more discreet

I would never take pictures of a meet myself. If pictures are taken I insist that my face isn't shown and if I was given a copy it would be for me only and not shared anywhere. I had a load of pictures of my ex and when she cheated on me I deleted them straight away even though one of my friends told me I should post them on a site.
That's not the kind of guy I am and didn't even think for a second that I was going to do that. |
