Off cause it can be done, same as meeting on here or in a supermarket or at Fred bloggs wedding. It's just another avenue, its when people put all their eggs in one basket they are less likely to find someone

Yes I have two friends who are happily married through meeting on dating sites. I myself have met a few dishonest people from dating sites. |

We didn't meet on a dating site per se, it was more a singles chat room. An accidental click on a name, a hello and 14 years on from that moment, still going strong......... |

One of my best friends met his soulmate on e-harmony. He swore after his first marriage he would never we'd agai. 11 years into a wonderful relationship they are getting married. Yes you can.
My sister, after kissing a lot of frogs and a couple of abortive attempts at longer term relationships including a failed marriage, changed her criteria and is now a good few months into being loved-up with a very nice toy-boy  |

We met on a dating site.
Our first wedding anniversary this month.
We'd lived close all our lives. Hung around the same places when we were younger but never met until the wonder of Internet dating. So, yes we are big fans. |

I'd say if you're both honest you can find compatible people online quicker than in the real world. You can meet more people in a shorter space of time.
The problem is the weirdos tend to hide there too.
Selectivity is needed and a good radar for bullshit |

I think more and more people are now meeting their partners this way.
But I guess you have to sift through the frogs til you find your prince!
Personally I recommend finding the one via fab! |
