Yes to Kenya loved it 3 weeks of heaven. Looking into going back again and taking my daughter. Id recommend it to anyone who loves to see the animals roaming free as nature intended them to be. |

I don,t know if it has ever happened Before, but the likely hood of a broken Down land rover on the african plains Is Food for thought, communication is key Haveing radio contact is very Important, as long as rescue is quick, always best To be prepared for the worst, but otherwise I would Imagine a once in a Lifetime experience. |

went to kenya in 1977 - before it was as touristy as now - lucky if you saw another vehicle whilst out there - now you see a trail of them - bit sad i think |

agree. but do you not think this line of tourists puts animals of hunting? amazing pictures these wildlife photographers get but I cant help wondering how long they pursued the animal for. |

" I think there must Be some truth in that, animals must be Distracted at times from catching prey and yes things usually get more popular usually from the masses when a Subject can Interest them but I do Agree I think its a shame that the Solitude for the animals has changed Over the years. |

I've been all over Africa in the last 20 years and Kenya has been spoiled but there are places in Africa which hasn't been spoiled I loved the masai Mara but 30 vehicles around a lion kill ...kruger is awesome too but Botswana and Zimbabwe have the right idea and have an abundance of wildlife and sightings ..2 male lions taking down a giraffe ....as for being broken down in a land rover been there done it at nighttime... just look up at the sky and listen to the Bush |

Got married in Kenya and did a safari then, loved it wish we did more safari and less beach although the beach and stuff was fantastic too.
If you can go do it. Lots of research, get off the beaten track a bit but be sensible, and don't go too posh, I'd love to do the safari that includes posh camping rather than all hotels in the parks. Fancy South Africa if I ever get enough money |

Isn't it amazing?
I spent a while in south Africa and hitch hiked to umfulozi game reserve. I didn't get as far north as kruger but my mates in capetown now so thats my next port of call. I fancy Namibia and the skeleton coast. |

We went to Botswana, drove around the Okavango, stayed on a houseboat, dodged hippos in the Zambezi and camped in the parks in canvas tents with hyenas, hippos, elephants, leopards, lions and many more walking past the tents at night - the first night is mind blowing, totally incredible - and the sex was pretty good too! Botswana is a beautiful country with wonderful, friendly and incredibly hospitable people - definately give it a go, the best holiday we have ever had! |
