Just reading an article about whether men should have access to hormonal support when their levels start to dip later in life.
Quite interesting as it seems to be an often ignored subject. May be a a macho thing possibly.
Anyone have any experience?
I was concerned about my T levels dipping so now take testosterone daily which has quite frankly had dramatic affects on my wellbeing. |

If the dip in those levels is something that's having a negative impact on their health and wellbeing and it's something which can safely be addressed with hormones then yes, they should. |

Don't feel "fogged up"
Just feel quite good basically.

Prescribed via private prescription. It's hard to access this type of support on the NHS which is why I was surprised by the article. Men of a certain age feeling marginalised. |

Ha yeah I don't feel marginalised I was referring to the article and there not being recognition as to the real affects it has on men later on in life. Apparently it can be linked with depression etc and rather than treat the root cause Men would be prescribed anti depressants.
I obtained the prescription as I had my bloods done and my levels were dipping naturally so rather than potentially have a problem later in life the Doc started treating it now. |
