Sorry but I need to vent....
Been asked to socially meet twice today and on both occasions they wanted me to drive an hour each way to meet them in thier home town ...
One even had the cheek to say he could only spend an hour cos he was meeting is regular fb ..
Is it me just being picky or wouldn't it be fairer to meet halfway . But the guy who was gonna be meeting his fb then told me his fb wouldn't be meeting him again after today so would I like to be his new regular one....Probably have to drive an hour each way each week. ..
Am I just being silly?? |

I ask everyone travel to me.
Fab meets fit in around me, that's how it goes and if others can't fit my meets then it doesn't matter, i'll look for someone else.

I've visited blokes at theirs, although I wouldn't travel an hour each way unless I was going that way anyway.
The way I see it, if we expect them to travel then, unless there's a very good reason not to, we should expect to travel. But if they're going to be here anyway, well, may as well make the most of it.
Just do what you want to do. If they're worth the effort, go for it. |

We only want people within an hours drive due to this, but no you have the right to be picky and say no as being second choice. For us we don't drive(yet) so people would need to travel but we're willing for a social and we would travel in to see whoever for said social(an hours drive and an hour and a half's bis ride) what is it they say plenty more men in the bar  |

I don't mind driving but I think cos both of them wanted me to drive that distance just made me think!
But definitely to only have a time scale once I got there even for a social I thought was a bit rude as he'd be looking at his watch all the time. ...he probably would have an alarm set on his phone ...times up!! Lol  |

They are being choosy. You should be. I've travelled to go to meets because I wanted and was happy too. If your not happy to do so and they won't compromise then next profile it is. |

I think your profile is giving out the wrong message. Two thirds of it is about Sydney Uni ( which is bollocks anyway!) and there's only a couple of lines about yourself. If you want to meet quality men who won't treat you with a lack of respect, I suggest you say more about yourself and what you're looking for.
