How many messages do you send a day?

Been chatting to a few guys who have complaining about getting no interest from members on here, I asked one how many messages he sent, he said about 20 on a daily basis 
I'll send one or two a day which I thought was enough, cause by the end of the week, my sent box was a river of yellow (unread messages) so I just deleted them, so what's the most you have sent in one day? |

Not many as I usually wait till I get a message which thinking about it is bloody lazy ...goes to find sexy men and women to message I may be gone awhile |

We don't send any intro messages anymore. Just because we have people we are happy meeting (unless someone who messages us catches our fancy).
When we did send intro messages, maybe 7-9 a week?

We sent 5 in our first week, since then just replies, and even these can take a while for us both to get around to.
I find myself sending apologies for forum posts, or clarifications if I don't want stuff aired publicly.
If someone was sending 20 introductory messages a day, I'd wonder if their initial short-listing needed improving.

I usually never message women/couples etc off here usually I just talk to people in the chat/forums etc and the only lady I talk with regularly via PM is a friend  not in real life just off here...
as for the rest I rarely message some one first via PM unless I know them prior or had some form of interaction etc.. in the past once in a while it's usually been a woman who messages me first. |

see what I've been saying and most in fact 96.5% don't and most newbie women who receive an intro message from a guy don't reply at the rate of98.2% |

so what did you "sign up" for?

Intro messages, not something I do really - sounds a bit contrived.
However, If someone sparks my interest, either profile or forum post then I'll message to chat.
Don't check read messages so only matters if they reply. I get lots of no reply too |

Most days I send no messages at all. I've once sent a first message. I thanked them for liking my photos. However that's been it. The rest of the time I only reply |

I dont send any messages any more, gets abit boring in the searches, however I do send lots of msgs via the forum and chat to forumiters in pm, not sure the total if msgs but its many  |

I don't send intro messages because I have hundreds of people who have messaged me 1st who I never got around to replying to don't want to add to the to-do list
I did send one message this week to a forumite who asked a question on his status though |

When looking for something specific I'd send about 40-50 messages. Most people don't bother replying and of the ones that do, many wouldn't lead anywhere. Life's too short to piss about with all that.
I don't blame guys for getting fed up of it. |

I sent out 23 over the past 2 days, not one was read or if it was it was while I was offline and they marked it as unread before I logged back on again, but cleared them all out my sent box before, having a dry spell at the moment |
